Brett brings more than 25 years’ experience in healthcare IT, combining strong programme delivery expertise with deep knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for digital health technologies.
He has led complex technology programmes across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and build through to deployment and operational delivery. His work includes implementing robust compliance frameworks for healthcare IT systems, data-rich platforms, and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) and Artifical Intelligence as a Medical device (AIaMD) solutions, ensuring systems meet the rigorous standards required in regulated healthcare environments.
Brett’s current work focuses on NHS DTAC and DSPT assurance, information governance and privacy, and the implementation of ISO-based management systems covering security, privacy, quality, AI development and environmental management.
As Head of Compliance, Brett provides leadership on the regulatory and governance requirements for OTUA and its products, supporting the responsible adoption of AI to deliver measurable, compliant outcomes.
