1. Our Commitment
Med Automation Limited is committed to ensuring that its digital platforms are accessible and usable by everyone, including patients, clinicians, and administrative users.
This includes the OTUA website, the OTTO AI Phone Assistant configuration interface, and associated clinician and administrator facing applications used in NHS environments.
We are working towards full compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.1 Level AA, ensuring our services are:
- Perceivable
- Operable
- Understandable
- Robust
Accessibility and inclusive design are embedded within our product engineering and service delivery approach, particularly in the context of NHS patient facing and operational systems.
2. Current Accessibility Status
Target Standard: WCAG 2.1 Level AA
Current Status: Working towards WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance
Core user journeys and primary interface components have been designed and tested with accessibility considerations in mind. Accessibility improvements are delivered incrementally as part of ongoing product development and refinement.
3. Measures to Support Accessibility
Med Automation Limited takes the following measures to support and improve accessibility:
- Accessibility and inclusive design requirements embedded within our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Accessibility considerations included in functional testing and quality assurance for significant releases
- Regular internal review of user journeys and interface design for accessibility and usability
- Alignment with recognised standards and guidance, including:
- WCAG 2.1
- NHS Design System
- UK Government Design Standards
- Accessibility awareness across engineering, UX, clinical safety and product teams
- Periodic accessibility review as part of DTAC and NHS assurance activities
4. Scope of This Statement
This Accessibility Statement applies to digital products and services operated by Med Automation Limited, including:
- Automating the patient journey, your AI phone assistant
- OTUA clinician and administrative portals
- OTTO AI Phone Assistant configuration and management interfaces
- Any web based or mobile components deployed as part of NHS implementations
This statement does not apply to third party systems (for example PAS, EPR or booking systems) integrated into customer environments, which are governed by their respective owners.
5. Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technologies
Our platforms are designed to be compatible with:
- The latest two major versions of Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox
- Operating systems including Windows 11 and macOS
- Common assistive technologies such as:
- Screen readers (for example VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS)
- Browser based zoom and contrast tools
- Speech to text and accessibility features provided by modern operating systems

7. Enforcement Procedure
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate concerns to:
- Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) which is the UK regulator for accessibility compliance
- Government Digital Service (GDS) for guidance relating to public sector digital accessibility

Accessibility forms part of Med Automation Limited’s continuous improvement framework and is supported through our ISO 9001, ISO IEC 27001 and ISO IEC 27701 certified Integrated Management System.
